The Managing Director is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, implementing, and establishing hotel goals and strategies for both the operational and financial success of the resort.

The main purposes of this role are to lead the Executive Team, as well as provide an excellent customer experience to the hotel guests, build strong relationships with the homeowners on the Island and improve all the aspects of the operation including: service, restaurants, housekeeping and guests services to ensure a customer focused luxury experience.

The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with at least 15-20 years of experience in the Hospitality industry sector, as well as previous International and Caribbean experience.

The Managing Director must possess the ability to train, motivate, evaluate, mentor and direct employees and managers to achieve desired results while maintaining excellent relations with all team members.

At Jumby Bay Island we require our managers to not only be highly competent in their field but also thrive on being accountable and responsible for the success, performance, and welfare of their team the operation.



Competitive remuneration package.



  • Minimum fifteen years hotel experience with at least five years’ experience at the Executive Level and experience in a minimum of three divisions of hotel operations.
  • Strong experience in operations to support F&B and Rooms divisions.
  • Capabilities of building a strong Executive Team aligned with company philosophy.
  • High consideration of talent development and fairness; High diversity awareness.
  • High ability to interact with guests of luxury industry.
  • High focus on Jumby Bay Island brand experience and vision.
  • Extensive Financial management aptitude.
  • Experience in managing and overseeing renovations; project and property management, development, and audits.
  • Experience managing relationship with hotel owners as well as management company.
