The Chef de Partie - Pastry is responsible for providing quality products in all areas of the Pastry Shop through effective planning and preparation. The Chef de Partie is expected to maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas and equipment, and ensuring that all pastries, desserts, breads, ice creams, sorbets, creams, simple syrups, jams, displays and/or centerpieces are presented in accordance with departmental quality specifications and standards to ensure guest satisfaction.

 

 

Competitive remuneration package. 

 

 

  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience within a luxury resort/hotel highly preferred.
  • Applicable culinary certifications an asset.
  • Food Handlers’ Certificate.
  • Valid Driver’s License in order to drive company vehicle(s).
  • Ability to communicate at all levels – excellent listening, verbal & written communication skills.
  • Full Fluency of the English language, both written and spoken. Fluency in a second language an asset.
  • Job holder must be able to work flexible hours.
