The Hotel Manager is responsible for effectively and efficiently leading and supporting the resort’s daily operations to ensure service excellence for our Homeowners, guests and hoteliers. With a proven track record in luxury accommodation, exceptional communication skills and intuitive and proactive service the ideal candidate will ensure alignment of the overall vision and strategy of the resort.

The Hotel Manager must possess the ability to coach and direct department managers across various divisions, leading and supporting the team and ensuring that guest expectations are exceeded in alignment with the standards of the Resort.

At Jumby Bay Island we require our managers to not only be highly competent in their field but also thrive on being accountable and responsible for the success, performance, and welfare of their team and the operation.

Competitive remuneration package.

  • Minimum ten years’ managerial experience in the Hospitality industry, with applicable International and Caribbean experience, with a minimum two years’ experience as an Executive
  • Strong operational knowledge of Opera
  • Robust knowledge of all resort operations, including food and beverage
  • Applicable degrees and/or professional certifications preferred.
  • Second Language would be an asset – minimum level: conversational.
  • This role requires the job holder to be able to work flexible hours.
  • Respectful leader with a desire to grow talent.
  • Solid leadership and training skills
  • Strong soft selling skills, with the ability to curate and maintain relationships with Homeowners, Guests, travel agencies, vendors and hoteliers
