Antigua, West Indies


The Staff Accountant is responsible for efficiently and effectively supporting the Finance team by accurately maintaining financial data, records and ledgers in keeping with established deadlines. Through attention to detail and strong aptitude for data analysis and critical thinking, the Staff Accountant will assist with all general accounting activities, including but not limited to revenue, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing and support, monthly closing and preparation of reports. The successful candidate must have integrity, strong confidentiality, flexibility and the ability to work with little supervision. 



Competitive remuneration package.



  • A minimum of 2-3 year’s experience in a similar role. Experience within a luxury resort/hotel highly preferred.
  • Prior auditing experience and the ability to understand the audit process workflow an asset.
  • Minimum Associates Degree in Accounting or related field. Professional certification an asset.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels – excellent listening, verbal & written communication skills.
  • Full Fluency of the English language, both written and spoken. Fluency in a second language an asset.
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office, inclusive of Microsoft Excel.
