Profile Summary 
The Restaurant Server is responsible for delivering exceptional and personalized service to our guests in a fast-paced, high volume dining environment, ensuring a seamless and luxury dining experience. With creativity, personal commitment and an emotional sense of true hospitality, make the most positive impact on guest experiences in the Restaurant and Lounge through consistent application of Oetker Collection's core practices.

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally as they arrive at the restaurant, provide suggestions based on menu knowledge, and ensure a personal and memorable dining experience.

  • Take food and beverage orders ensuring accuracy and attention to special requests or dietary restrictions and deliver them promptly to guests at their tables and to the highest standard of presentation.

  • Describe the menu items clearly and confidently, be familiar with wine, cocktails, and other beverages, offering recommendations or suggestions based on guests’ preferences.

  • Monitor guest needs and proactively offer refills, additional services, or special promotions, ensuring their satisfaction.  

  • Process guest orders through the restaurant’s POS system, ensuring that billing is accurate, following the restaurant’s credit and cash handling policies, and that any special requests or preferences are noted.

  • Collaborate closely with the other servers, bartenders, kitchen hoteliers, and other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient service, fulfilling guests orders in a timely and accurate manner contributing to a personalized guest journey.

Core Competencies/ Requirements

  • Outstanding abilities to build and maintain relationships and a regular client base, demonstrated ability to make a naturally positive, lasting impression, brilliant at recognizing and welcoming regular guests.
  • Self-motivated, decisive, responsible, and driven to achieve goals.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate and maintain all departmental equipment, fully competent with POS systems.
  • Passionate for food and beverage, strives to exceed expectations for service excellence with demonstrated understanding of international fine dining, wine, beverage and service standards commensurate of the leading hotels in the world. 
  • Have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury setting.
  • Have excellent communication skills with fluency in English required.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including morning, afternoon, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work in a high-pace and dynamic operation.

US work authorization is required.
