 Hotel La Palma - Capri’s first hotel, built in 1822, currently being transformed into an elegant and exclusive 50-room-and-suite hotel. Position Profile:

 

With creativity, personal commitment and an emotional sense of true hospitality, make the most positive impact on guest experiences in the Restaurants and Bars through consistent application of Oetker Collection's core practices.

  • With high integrity, ensure that guests experience the highest quality 5 diamond/5 star standards
  • Greet and seat guests in the Restaurants and Lounge, meeting and exceeding service expectations proactively, promptly, professionally, with genuine care to attention and detail.
  • Receive guest reservations, verify in-house guests, maintain seating plan and attend to other service needs, as appropriate.
  • Advise team members of guest special occasions, unique celebrations.
  • Demonstrate creativity, personal commitment to service excellence and an emotional sense of gracious hospitality.
  • Exceed service expectations proactively, promptly, professionally, with genuine care to attention, detail and efficiency.
  • Actively demonstrate teamwork, safe work practices, open communication, accuracy in transactions, respect, genuine kindness and a family spirit.
  • Maintain positive internal and external relationships, familiarity with local venues, attractions, restaurants, events, and luxury hospitality standards.
  • Participate on opening/closings, setups and breakdowns and ensure overall room ambiance, cleanliness, appropriate setting and presentation.
  • Undertake other ad hoc related responsibilities, as required.

  • Technology proficiency– Operates and maintains all departmental equipment, fully competent with restaurants reservations systems.

 

Education & Experience:

 

  • Previous dining or luxury level service knowledge and training is an asset.
  • Minimum 1 year previous work experience in a similar capacity.
  • Required to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

 

Must be presently legal to work in the USA
