Position Profile:
The Marketing & PR Coordinator is a marketing and public relations professional responsible for assisting the Director of Sales & Marketing plan the creation of material that will maintain or enhance the public image of the hotel.
Create exciting and relevant social media content for all brand platforms
Check and respond to all social media inquiries as needed within brand guidelines
Coordinates Internal and external PR activities
Coordinates photoshoots, releases, and other materials on file for publicity
Handles external materials, distribute press releases, event invitations or requested photos, brochures, or other materials.
Update, edit and write materials.
Maintains a file of all press releases, tracks invitation RSVPs and follows up
Maintain an active list of media representatives who need to be informed of the hotel's news and events.
Ensures the media list is up-to-date and regularly pitches story ideas to them to keep the hotel in the news, arranges press interviews and assists to respond to requests from the press.
Adept at using Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and any and all of the newest social media used by the hotel's target audience.
Assists or organizes special events: assists with arrangements, inviting guests and announcing to the media through press releases.
Help in designing and reviewing a variety of promotional and marketing materials
Measure and provide reports on each social media campaign
