Position Profile:

 

Assists the Guest Services Manager, ensuring the efficient, effective, and cohesive flow of activities that create excellent guest experiences through personal presence and supervision of the Guest Services Team.

 

Through exceptional, personalized assistance and attention, recommends and facilitates arrangements on behalf of the guest to enhance guest experiences at The Vineta Hotel.

 

Inspires a high level of creativity, resourcefulness, personal commitment to service excellence and an emotional sense of gracious hospitality.

 

Manages and effectively coaches, trains, motivates, communicates, recognizes, schedules, provides performance feedback, and conducts performance correction if required.

 

Maintains expertise on and contacts within local venues, attractions, restaurants, tourism events and local counterparts.

 

As a member of the international network of Clefs d’Or, liaises with counterparts on preferences and requirements of high-profile guests.

 

The following is considered mandatory for this position:

 

Supervises Team members and effectively coach, train, organize, motivate, communicate, and recognize, as fitting.

 

Works in conjunction with Team members and maintain hands-on involvement in all aspects of the guest relations operation, assists where the need is greatest and as required.

 

Manage and maintains a secure Hotel environment.

 

Be fully versed with statutory, fire, legal, health and safety procedures and take control in the event of a crisis.

 

Handles guest complaints and perform “Duty Manager” responsibilities.

 

Reviews guest profiles and ensure special requests are highlighted, anticipates, and executes a personalized guest experience with the greatest attention to detail.

 

Performs other duties as assigned.

Technology proficiency– Fully competent in all systems used within department, including Windows based programs & Micros PMS.

Excellent knowledge of local attractions and dining scene, deep contacts in the business community, internationally connected.

Education & Experience:


Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management

Minimum 2 years previous work experience in a similar capacity within an international world-class hotel or service organizations.

A member of Clefs D'or Association

Must be presently legal to work in the USA to be considered.
