Position Profile:

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to maximize revenue and occupancy for an ultra-luxury boutique hotel with 37 exclusive rooms. This individual plays a vital role in cultivating strong client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and ensuring the hotel’s positioning within the luxury market aligns with brand standards of excellence and personalized service.

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Proactively identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key accounts, including luxury travel advisors, corporate clients, consortia, and event planners.
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to drive revenue across room sales, group bookings, and events.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals through focused account management and business development.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and maintain the hotel’s competitive edge.

Client Relations & Networking

  • Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and local community activities to enhance visibility and business opportunities.
  • Host site inspections, client entertainment, and familiarization trips with discretion and attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional, personalized service to clients in line with the hotel’s ultra-luxury positioning.
  • Work closely with the Reservations, Revenue Management, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on business strategies.

Misc

  • Collaborate with the operational teams to ensure the successful execution of all group and VIP bookings.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, market analyses, and recommendations for business improvement.

- Communication– Excellent verbal and written communication with 100% fluency in English, displaying standards in line with expectations through appearance, manners, language and interactions.

Education & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

- Minimum of 1-2 years of hotel sales experience or similar sales role. 

- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales target
