Position Profile:
The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to maximize revenue and occupancy for an ultra-luxury boutique hotel with 37 exclusive rooms. This individual plays a vital role in cultivating strong client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and ensuring the hotel’s positioning within the luxury market aligns with brand standards of excellence and personalized service.
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Proactively identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key accounts, including luxury travel advisors, corporate clients, consortia, and event planners.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to drive revenue across room sales, group bookings, and events.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals through focused account management and business development.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and maintain the hotel’s competitive edge.
Client Relations & Networking
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and local community activities to enhance visibility and business opportunities.
- Host site inspections, client entertainment, and familiarization trips with discretion and attention to detail.
- Provide exceptional, personalized service to clients in line with the hotel’s ultra-luxury positioning.
- Work closely with the Reservations, Revenue Management, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on business strategies.
Misc
- Collaborate with the operational teams to ensure the successful execution of all group and VIP bookings.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular sales reports, market analyses, and recommendations for business improvement.
