The boat host is responsible for assisting the boat captain with all boat trips and charters, as well as maintaining the boat(s) in an immaculate manner in keeping with resort standards. The successful candidate must be able to provide information and supervision to all guests while on trips, as well as assist in any other Beach & Sports activities as needed in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.



Competitive remuneration package.



  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury resort/hotel.
  • Applicable certifications required, inclusive of First Aid certification and valid Boat Master’s License.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • The ability to operate a 36-foot boat, including docking the boat, as well as handling it in rough seas. Demonstrate a basic knowledge of the mechanical, electrical and electronic systems of the boat. Familiarity with winds and water of Antigua and Barbuda.
  • Must be physically able to be on his/her feet 90% of the time; use hands and all fingers to handle, feel, reach; must be able to talk and hear. Also required to stand and walk and must occasionally life and/or move 10-40lbs.
  • Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred.
