The Assistant Head of Food & Beverage is responsible for ensuring that the daily operations of all F&B outlets are managed in keeping with Jumby Bay’s service standards, with a special emphasis on department training and development, while delivering an excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will assist with managing department team members, guest satisfaction and operational efficiency through the effective planning, organizing and directing of the F&B operations.

 

At Jumby Bay Island we require our managers to not only be highly competent in their field but also thrive on being accountable and responsible for the success, performance, and welfare of their team within the operation.



Competitive remuneration package. 



  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury resort, hospitality service or consumer-led organization
  • Applicable Certifications and/or Degree(s)
  • Knowledge of SevenRooms, Micros and KnowCross systems an asset
  • WSET Wine Level 2 or higher an asset
  • Valid Food Handler’s Certificate.
  • Valid Driver’s License to drive company’s vehicle(s)
  • Ability to communicate at all levels – excellent listening, verbal & written communication skills.
  • Full Fluency of the English language, both written and spoken. Fluency in a second language an asset.
  • These roles require job holders to be able to work flexible hours.
