The Purchasing Manager is responsible for organizing and managing the Purchasing department and associated stores and warehouses to the highest professional standards and in accordance with standard operating procedures. Through partnership and collaboration with Executive Management, the Purchasing Manager is meant to ensure the continuous and up-to-date purchasing, receiving and issuing of operating supplies, food, beverage and any other goods from both local and overseas vendors. Through thorough knowledge of market and industry standards, as well as strong rapport with all vendors, the broker(s), and other pertinent parties, the successful candidate will be expected to execute forward planning, smooth inventory management with strong financial acumen to maintain established controls.

Competitive remuneration package.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role acquired in dynamic luxury resort, hospitality service or consumer-led organizations.
  • Strong operational knowledge of Inventory Management Systems and other applicable software.
  • Applicable degrees and/or professional certifications preferred.
  • Second Language would be an asset – minimum level: conversational.
  • This role requires the job holder to be able to work flexible hours.
  • Respectful leader with a desire to grow talent.
  • Valid Driver’s License (minimum D Class) to operate company vehicle(s), inclusive of forklift.
