Position Profile:
Puts in place simple, effective and control-oriented receiving practices to ensure quality and quantity are checked for. Ensuring that the delivery invoices are applicable to the purchasing documents via counting, weighing and verifying shipments and prices.

• Demonstrates a high level of integrity, personal commitment to service excellence and an entrepreneurial sense of responsibility in all interactions.
• Monitor quality of products to ensure they meet the hotel and brand standards, evaluate new products that could enhance the operation and maximize opportunities to lower costs and increase profitability.
• Develop receiving procedures for the hotel per acceptable industry standards and professional control mechanisms.
• Settle all shipping discrepancies in a timely fashion well before deadlines.
• Ensure time stamps, signatures and dates are clear and legible on every packing slip and/or invoices.
• Be well familiarized with the loading dock schedules.
• Maintain accurate records for all product specifications, warranties, requisitions, bid submission and purchase orders.
• In line with Oetker Collection's policy and procedures, issue received and/or stored items through approved requisition receipts.
• Ensure physical application is realistic and within own abilities, minimizing potential injury and/or loss.
• Maintain positive communication with all departments in the hotel, interacting with team members as internal customers and stay well informed of hotel VIP’s activities, promotions and events.
• Undertakes other ad hoc related responsibilities, as required.
