Lead the development and administration of the reservations polices, practices and programs, maximizing room occupancy and revenue.

 

  • Oversee operations of the reservations, including booking inquires, confirmations, cancellations and modifications.
  • Implement and manage the Hotel reservations system and distribution of inventory through relevant channels.
  • Manage special and complex guest inquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction while upholding luxury standards, with precision and discretion.
  • Establish effective working relationships with industry colleagues, oversee PMS, Global Distribution system, and E- Marketing initiatives, plus other reservation tools, ensuring that all related systems are configured correctly and working to full capacity.
  • Inspire a high level of creativity, personal commitment to service excellence and emotional sense of gracious hospitality.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and recommend sales strategies to maximize occupancy for high potential leisure business.
  • In conjunction with the Director of Sales and Marketing, develop packages, establish transient room rate contracts, target rates, event minimums and space release policies.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Reservations and operations teams to align strategies and fulfill guest expectations (room preferences, amenities, or tailored experiences).
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and comply with data protection laws.

Core Competencies / Requirements

  • Analytical, organized and detail oriented.
  • Decision making and problem solving.
  • Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, PMS, others) preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with focus on luxury service.
  • Customer-centric mindset to maintain luxury service standards.
  • Degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management preferred.
  • 3 years of work experience in a similar role in the luxury market preferred.
  • Must be fluent in English
