Position Profile:

 

With creativity, personal commitment and an emotional sense of true hospitality, make the most positive impact on guest experiences.

 

Works with Head Bartender to create an exceptional beverage program.

 

Prepare beverages for guests and servers according to the order, meets service expectations proactively, promptly, professionally, with genuine care to attention and detail and with respect for internal customers.

 

Ensures the efficient, effective, and cohesive flow of bar activities that create excellent guest experiences through personal presence.

 

Inspires a high level of creativity, resourcefulness, personal commitment to service excellence and an emotional sense of gracious hospitality.

 

Works in conjunction with Team members and maintain hands-on involvement in all aspects of the bar operation, assists where the need is greatest and as required.

 

Monitor and ensure smooth operations of bar, check for quality and presentation to designated F&B standards for all items prior to serving.

 

Performs other duties as assigned.

Core Competencies & Skills:

 

Service Excellence – Genuinely warm presence, friendly, sincere, and outgoing nature, leading by positive example to strive for service excellence and warm hospitality.

 

Detail oriented – Strong organization, multitasking and time management skills.

 

Operational expertise –Demonstrates strong knowledge of The Vineta Hotel service deliverables, service standards, programs, policies, and procedures.

 

Decision making- Prompt, sound, reasonable and clear decision making.

 

Problem solving Adept at juggling multiple needs, collaboration within strong network of contacts to resolve problems creatively and successfully.

 

Proficient in all aspects of Bar operations.

 

Technology proficiency– Fully competent in all systems used within department, including Micros POS.

 

Education & Experience:

 

Minimum 2 years previous work experience in a similar capacity within an international world-class hotel or service organizations.

 

Certificate or Diploma in Mixology.

 

Must be in possession of a valid work permit for the USA.
