The Manager of Restaurant & Events plays a significant role in helping Jumby Bay Island Resort fulfill its purpose and exceed guest expectations by assisting with the management of food and beverage services. This includes overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff training and ensuring high standards of service quality, while also taking responsibility and oversight of the all-day dining restaurant, bar and special events. The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and coordination to manage both regular operations and unique guest experience such as, but not limited to, the all-day dining outlet's special events. This position also supports the team in delivering world-class service while maintaining profitability and a memorable guest experience. 



Competitive remuneration package.



  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, acquired in a dynamic, luxury resort of hospitality service is required.
  • Knowledge of MyFourchette and Micros an asset. 
  • Knowledge of Forbes and LQA Standards preferred. 
  • Ability to communicate at all levels – excellent listening, verbal & written communication skills.
  • Full Fluency of the English language, both written and spoken. Fluency in a second language an asset.
  • These roles require job holders to be able to work flexible hours.
  • Applicable certifications/degrees preferable.
  • Valid Antigua and Barbuda Driver’s License.
