The Sales & Events Coordinator curates, coordinates, communicates, and customizes extraordinary and elevated luxury, social and incentive experiences that exceed expectations of the ultra-luxury guests and owners of Jumby Bay Island. The Coordinator is also in responsible for the smooth evolution of each event from pre-sales to proposal to contracting, pre-, during, and post-arrival delivery. Works closely with the Sales, Marketing, Operations and Residences teams to grow guest acquisition through delivering a flawless and memorable experience.

 

The successful candidate must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy, as well as prioritize, organize and follow-up. A creative and a clear thinker, the successful candidate must be able to remain calm and resolve problems using good judgment. Must reflect a positive attitude at all times and be a team player. Leadership potential is desirable.



Competitive remuneration package.



  • A minimum of two (2) years’ hotel operations experience in a similar role, within a luxury resort/hotel preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field an asset, as well as related event planning certifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of OPERA an asset.
  • Valid Antigua and Barbuda Driver’s License required.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels – excellent listening, verbal & written communication skills
