The Executive Head of Finance and Purchasing is responsible for all accounting, financial and purchasing control functions of the resort. The successful candidate must ensure timely and accurate financial accounting and reporting and provide financial advisory services to operations and ensure all local and corporate policies and procedures, including internal accounting controls are in place and that all resort management observes system controls. The Executive Head of Finance and Purchasing must also oversee and control purchasing systems and maintain the effectiveness and efficiency in cost controls and logistics.
The Executive Head of Finance and Purchasing coordinates resort operating budgets and capital expenditure plans, maintains a comprehensive contract compliance calendar that incorporates the deadlines and ensures they are met. The ideal candidate will always conduct themselves in a professional manner to reflect the high standards of Jumby Bay Island and encourages the team members to do the same, while fostering strong relationships with the Executive Committee, other subsidiary companies, vendors and contractors.
